I signed up for these emails this week and am excited to read the article above. So, truth be told, I don’t really like cooking anymore. I used to love it, then my child became more opinionated and life got busier and cooking started feeling more like chore than a hobby or an act of love. I started having the attitude of “why am I the only one cooking around here?” and “I wish someone would magically place food in front of me for every meal.”
But here’s the thing. I love to eat. I love food, especially healthy food. So, healthy, inexpensive (or less expensive) dishes are my absolute favorite. The article above “33 Dinner Recipes You Can Make with What’s in Your Pantry” sounds right up my alley. I’ll probably change up the recipes a bit and include “things-from-my-fridge” like fresh fruits and veggies. I actually enjoy the challenge of pulling together a healthy meal for my family using items I already have on hand!
Features
Simple Meal Solutions
One of my favorite features of this website is you can search for recipes based on specific criteria. My personal favs are the slow cooker, 5 ingredients or less and 30 minute meals options.
Videos
Additionally, many of the recipes have videos! Is it weird I like that function? I can easily get sucked into watching a few recipes being made to help decide which one I want to make.
Comments
One last feature, the comments! Oh do I love to read those. I’ve found the comment section to be really helpful. Readers share their feedback on what they thought of the recipe, alterations they made and what they would do differently next time.
If you decide to try out the Pillsbury site, let me know which recipes you try and what you think!
Thank you so much! Love your website!
